Welcome!

Hello friends! My name is Izzy Stearns, I’m a photographer originally based out of Burlington, Vermont, but am currently living in Christchurch, New Zealand. I did a year of college in upstate New York then decided to take a year off where I went back to Burlington to save money and focus on my photography. During that year, I developed a passion for concert photography. I have always had a love for live music, but getting involved through photography made shows a whole new experience as I learned how to capture and freeze the energy of performers and spectators. My passion truly lies in photographing people in all situations; weddings, families, solo portraits, etc. Concert photography is just an extension of this, photographing people creating art for others to enjoy.

At the end of 2023, curiosity took me out of New England and across the world to beautiful New Zealand. After six months of driving around the country, I finally settled down in Christchurch. I can’t wait to explore and become involved in a new world of music, events, and culture out here. Let’s see where my camera takes me next!
